My first property editorial focuses on the area of St Thomas. I was asked to write about this wonderful area of our City by my clients and it is a popular choice. Having lived there myself and raised a family there, it makes it particularly easy to write about!
In the time since I lived in St Thomas, there have been many changes, however one thing that hasn’t changed is the people, St Thomas residents have a wonderful community spirit.
I understand why it is a popular location within our City, with the Quayside and beautiful walks close by. The local shopping centres, supermarkets along with fantastic schools such as Bowhill Primary and West Exe School. There are many fabulous eateries, Apple Blossom Café where Jason has the most amazing Bistro nights, and Café at 36 in Cowick Street where in my view they serve the best mochas! AGE UK Exeter, in Cowick Street offers a variety of local community services including Men in Shed Days!
The St Thomas Community festival is a long awaited annual fixture and Clear Property hold their annual kids Halloween Fun Run in Cowick Barton Playing fields in October, raising funds for AGE UK Exeter.
