Clear Property puts ‘community over competition…’

Kelly chose Age UK Exeter as Clear Property’s nominated charity in 2014 and since then we have sponsored, volunteered at and organised fundraising events such as Abseiling, Summer Fetes, Golf Days, 10K Runs, Easter Egg Hunts and cake sales, raising £20,000 to support their work.

The main event that Clear Property organise and deliver is the Halloween Fun Run – a local, fun, spooktastic, community event, held in Cowick Barton Playing fields in St. Thomas.

2017 was the third and biggest yet, with nearly 400 children participating. The runners looked fantastic in fancy dress and enjoyed plenty of frights and fun. There was a terrific turn out of friends and families, who also enjoyed storytelling, a fancy-dress competition, bouncy castle and a BBQ.

Active, fun & exciting

The event provided Exeter’s younger generation with an active and fun filled activity, that raised nearly £3,300 to help support our older community. Do please feel free to support us in raising as much money as we can for Age UK Exeter, the offices are run by a very passionate formidable man Martyn Rogers, also supported by our main contact Jacqui Cornish.

We believe in supporting other charities and businesses where possible and Clear Property sponsored several events in Exeter in 2017 including:

  • Exeter City Community Trust, Exeter Half Marathon, Feb
  • Express & Echo and Exeter City Football Club, Community Sports Awards, April
  • Exeter City Community Trust, Evening with Jo Pavey, May
  • Express & Echo, Business Awards, May
  • Radio Exe, Pride of Devon Awards, May
  • Exeter City Community Trust, Exeter Marathon, May

Clear Property use local suppliers for all their events, promoting them where possible. We provide prizes for raffles and fund raising events, organised by other businesses in Exeter and attend local events to help support local businesses, promoting them through our social media channels.
